Crafting with Savvy - Intro

     

As you may be able to guess by Savvy’s Attic holding the housing items, I love to decorate. Starting with an empty property and filling it with all sorts of things until it looks perfect, looks as though you actually live there instead of it just being storage, adding personality. The Spiral only offers so many styles of houses, so a lot of people end up having the same type. However if you've ever visited the different castles posted with Myrella Windspar you may have noticed that it all depends on what you decorate your house with that makes it home. In this series I’m going to point out some of the many wonderful housing items that you can craft so that you may also know the joy and sense of accomplishment of a fully decorated house.

I don’t know about everyone else but when I get a house I like to do my best to match the theme that the house already has. Things don’t necessarily have to be from the same world to match, there is a bit of a leeway. For example, the Flame Tablet, Solar Tablet and Storm Tablet; the recipes are sold by my friend, Wul’yahm in Krokotopia even though they are actually Mooshu themed. I love to use them for makeshift walls. Yes there are castle blocks now; which can unfortunately look odd if the house you are decorating isn't made out of stone blocks. The great thing about these tablets is that the main body of them is wood so they work well in many different houses such as the Life House, Jungle House Boat, Treetop Getaway and many more. There are many different designs that these tablets come in which is also one of the great things about them but the only way to get the flame, solar and storm designs is to craft them yourself.
