Azteca Housing - Crafting with Savvy - Part 6

Part six?! My goodness, so many great housing items! This post covers the last four housing objects from Cantares, the empty sarcophagus, obscure codex, tool rack and gold azteca column. Cantares says he's going to miss our visits and hopes that we'll stop by from time to time to save him from those pesky monquistadors.

Evil Snow Peas - Gardening for Reagents

Welcome back to Terri's Garden! I debated and argued with myself trying to figure out which plant to start with. There are so many AWESOME plants! Flowers that give reagents, veggies that produce treasure cards, many even give mega snacks, housing items, or PETS! How to choose? OMG it was so hard. Finally I said to myself, "Myself, there is only one plant that you can confidently predict what crafters can expect to get from harvests. It is the only plant that you've completed a full 10 harvests for a decent sample." Myself thought for a minute and then whined "But Evil Snow Peas are boring, and basically pointless unless you're an Ice wizard!" So I did some research to prove Myself wrong.

The B.O.X.E.S. are back!!

As you may remember, the last time the B.O.X.E.S. appeared in the spiral Rose Piper surprised us with a bunch of new housing recipes that all require sonic springs. Now that the B.O.X.E.S. are back this is our chance to stock up on enough sonic springs to craft all of those awesome housing items and mounts!

Treetop Getaway - Part 3 - Crafting with Savvy

Hello! Once again we're working towards crafting you a house! How are you coming on the last pieces I talked about? Yeah, I know, crafting a house is a big job, that's why I've been breaking it down piece by piece. This week I'm going to cover the last two craftable pieces, the Azteca Archway and Azteca Kiln. Yep, there are only four different crafted items needed to make the Treetop Getaway. You will need 8 archways and 4 kilns, they will take a total of 64 stone block, 40 sandstone, 40 sunstone, 80 agave leaves, 80 bone, 80 blood moss, and 2 grendelweed for the archways; 4 Efreet(tc), 4 Fire Trap(tc), 4 Furnace(tc), 20 sandstone, 50 stone block, 100 ghost fire, and 125 black coal for the kilns.

Teleporters - Crafting with Savvy

Hello again everyone! We sure have been busy here at Castle of Crafts, our actual website, Castle of Crafts is live and you can visit me in my attic and ask for suggestions of housing items that you can craft. You can also still visit my Midday Estate; I’m going to be keeping it on the tours so stop on by!

Castle Blocks...Again - Crafting with Savvy

Alright, I don't know how much you guys have played with the castle blocks but I've realized that it takes a lot of blocks to make even a small extra building. Yes, the Midday Estate, Meadows at dusk and the Night Garden are bewitched to allow an extra 250 castle blocks inside and out but the castles pre-built already take that many or more! You can get elixirs to increase the amount of items you can set down but that only increases the amount total, not the bewitched castle blocks allowance. So if you don't want to spend a ton on elixirs the only solution I can think of is to use as many of the XL pieces as you can and try to avoid the small and XS where you can. My buddy Lloyd Fallingwater, you know, in the Shopping District, he pointed out some huge pieces that can really help you free up some space.

Craftable Music Players - Crafting with Savvy

A while ago I had commented to Dezzy that it's a shame that there is only one kind of music player and how awesome it would be if there was one themed after each world, later that week the B.O.X.E.S. appeared and wouldn't you know, she got Dragon's Roost Player dropped. Alas, I'm not very lucky when it comes to creatures dropping what I want, but thankfully Rose Piper heard my complaint and by the time the B.O.X.E.S. reappeared she had mastered the recipes to not only the Dragon's Roost Player but a bunch of others as well! You should have heard her tooting her own horn!

Crafting with Savvy - Kitchen Items

Today I’m going to discuss kitchen items; I mean we all have to eat right? We do eat eventually, right? Well, even if we don’t it will make for a nice place to craft pet snacks anyway. Besides, a house is just not complete without a kitchen. The recipes for almost everything you could want in a kitchen can be bought from the big ‘ol teddy bear, Tarold Wayfinder in Northgaurd, Grizzleheim. He sells recipes from kitchen cabinets to gold place settings.

Crafting with Savvy - Intro

As you may be able to guess by Savvy’s Attic holding the housing items, I love to decorate. Starting with an empty property and filling it with all sorts of things until it looks perfect, looks as though you actually live there instead of it just being storage, adding personality. The Spiral only offers so many styles of houses, so a lot of people end up having the same type. However if you've ever visited the different castles posted with Myrella Windspar you may have noticed that it all depends on what you decorate your house with that makes it home. In this series I’m going to point out some of the many wonderful housing items that you can craft so that you may also know the joy and sense of accomplishment of a fully decorated house.

Progress

Progress has been kind of slow as there are tons of recipes to enter into the database. Currently I am working on the clothing recipes, systematically working through the vendors alphabetically, and am in the middle of the Ks. Savvy is working on housing recipes for the items to be found in Savvy's Attic. I believe that she is somewhere in the Ps. I will leave the updates on housing items for Savvy to report on herself.
