The Wyrd House - Part 3 - Crafting with Savvy

Hello everyone! Did you finish crafting your house last time? Easy peasy huh? I just love how creepy this house is and the purple water! My favorite color just happens to be purple. The only downside I have found with this property is that the houses are only one room and quite small, but if you're not tired of crafting just yet you could whip up some castle blocks. I found that the spider house fits 7 Floor-Ceiling XL Castle Blocks, 3 Floor-Ceiling LG Castle Blocks and a Stairs Wide Castle Block fit almost perfectly. If you want to fill the little gaps you will also need 7 Floor-Ceiling Sm Castle Blocks and 4 Floor-Ceiling Md Castle Blocks to create a second floor and double your space.
To do so you will need, 12 Scorpion(tc), 21 Evil Snowman(tc), 28 Snow Serpent(tc), Cyclops(tc), 16 Ghoul(tc), 18 Ruby, 12 Deep Mushroom, 9 Bronze Gear, 42 Crystal Vial, 35 Nightshade, 70 Spider Silk, 42 Black Coal, 28 Ore, 7 Ghost Fire, 21 Ectoplasm, 5 Water Lily and 10 Bone. Also, don't forget, if you don't want to use regular castle blocks you could always use the wood ones.
Now that you've crafted a second floor, what are you going to fill it with? Are you going to buy furniture packs or craft your decorations? If you're a bit tired of crafting by now the Wyrd House is Avalon themed or if you're tired of that pack the Grizzleheim pack would look nice here as well. I personally have been crafting furniture from the B.O.X.E.S., I have fallen in love with it and add it to the stuff from the Wysteria furniture packs which I of course buy with gold.
Have you ever lost track of how many of what pieces you need and accidentally craft too many of something? Normally I just use the extra to decorate the new home but unless you have extra jars of mushrooms the pieces don't really fit with the house. I went and talked to Terri and she told me that deadly helephant ears like the brick-walled pond. I grow those a lot for sandstone to transmute into sunstones so I found that tidbit of info very interesting. I've also used cephalopod obelisk to decorate my Sunken Palace and almost all of my houses have a jar of mushrooms in the kitchen. So even though I love finding items that are already crafted in the Bazaar don't forget that just because they are extra doesn't mean that they can't be used somewhere else. Until next time, happy crafting everyone!
