Fire Wizards Aquila Gear, Level 30

This week's in depth study of Aquila gear compares the original set of Senator's Radient gear that is dropped to the Adept's Radiant Set that you may craft. Are the properties increased enough to make it worth your time, effort, and reagents? You'll need to judge for yourself as only you know exactly what needs you have and which boosts you want specifically. Every wizard has their own idea of the perfect gear after all.

Khalkos Coppersmith has returned to Dezzy's Closet. He's almost become a fixture here, to be honest, and we aren't quite halfway through the Aquila gear. Normally, you'll spot Coppersmith near the entrance of the Garden of Hesperides, not far from the Mount Olympus sigil.

410 460   (+50)
12% 12%   (+0%)
8% 11%   (+3%)
22% 25%   (+3%)
15% 17%   (+2%)
26% 28%   (+2%)
11% 15%   (+4%)
0% 3%   (+3%)

The crafted gear IS undeniably better. However here is the list of what you'll need to make all 3 items in the set ...

1 Senator's Radiant Laurel
1 Senator's Radiant Toga
1 Senator's Radiant Boots
7 Phoenix
20 Pristine Vial
40 Crystal Vial
17 Black Pearl
70 Water Lily
80 Blood Moss
60 Ore
20 Frost Flower
20 Spring

While there are differences depending on the schools, I really haven't been very impressed with any of these Adept sets. Granted Coppersmith probably doesn't want us to have exceptional gear at level 30 or we'd be kicking some Imortal behind up and down Mount Olympus and that just wouldn't look very good at all as far as they are concerned. Am I right?

At level 30 you have the choice of two different sets of gear that you can craft: Aquila gear or Mooshu. Mooshu has the additional perk of also giving boosts to your secondary schools and could possibly be a better choice for you. Here are links to the Mooshu fire gear so that you can compare them to the Aquila gear and see which might work better for you:

Please keep in mind that the numbers above reflect the properties given when the entire set is worn together. I have provided a link to the Dezzy's Closet page of our website that gives the clothing recipe and info for the sets, and the names of the individual items that make up the sets - just click on the set title. These pages are not yet available through our site but I have given exclusive early access to our blog readers!
