It's time for Yuletide celebration in the Spiral! OK, so this has nothing to do with crafting, but holiday stuff is just awesome - even if Manny doesn't much appreciate the rosy cheeks that guys get with the Toy Soldier set. Ravenwood students in the Wizard101 spiral received a free Yuletide pack, on Friday, for the first day in the annual 12 Days of the Spiral event. You can get yours until December 17th by entering the code SPIRALGIFT.
What holiday items are you hoping to receive this year? Last year, for me, it was the gingerbread house. Poor Nightshade, I farmed him religiously until I finally received it. I found that elusive second Santa hat, that I've been wanting for Mandy, in my Yuletide pack. Maybe I'll take it easy on Nightshade this year .... nahhhh.
The amount of farmable yuletide clothing is a bit disappointing after the variety available for Halloween. Heck, even Thanksgiving had 2 outfits and a turkey hat available. Sadly, from what information is available, there is only the Santa outfit that gets dropped after battle.
The Santa hat can be dropped by Lord Nightshade (Storm Drain Tower in Wizard City), Krokopatra (Temple of Storms in Krokotopia), Meowiarty (Big Ben in Marleybone), and Tse-tse Snaketail (Mirror Lake in Zafaria). The Santa robe can only be gained by defeating Lord Nightshade (Storm Drain Tower in Wizard City), Jade Oni (Emperor's Palace in Mooshu), or Starburst Spider (Mirror Lake in Zafaria). The Santa boots that complete this ensemble can be received from Lord Nightshade (Storm Drain Tower in Wizard City), Jade Oni (Emperor's Palace in Mooshu), Othin Stormfather (Raven Fortress in Ravenscar, Grizzleheim), or Tse-tse Snaketail (Mirror Lake in Zafaria).
I mean, you CAN of course buy them from Felix Navidad or the Crown Shop and you also have the option of visiting the Wizard City Dye Shop and coloring just about any (but not all) outfit red and green - but where's the fun in THAT??
