Myth wizards that have chosen elemental based spells as their secondary schools might want to listen up. Our final installment of Mooshu clothing is just for you. So much yellow! Why can't the default main myth color be navy? Thank goodness you CAN dye them!
If you missed last week's post I'll quickly repeat my suggestion of not waiting until you gain access to Village of Sorrow on your own to track down Shan Hao. Ask a friend to help you port there as soon as you get promoted to level 33. You'll find him near the teleporter hub. I'm not sure what his fascination is with stone block, but you will need no less than 47 stone blocks for each of these sets.

It has dawned on me that I don't generally talk a lot about the actual recipes of these outfits, just provide a link to the recipes. I try to highlight the properties they give so that you can make an informed decision about whether or not these sets would be better than any crown gear you may have collected along your travels. I will warn you though, it will take a total of THIRTEEN different reagents and 15 Cyclops treasure cards to craft all three of the items that make up these outfits.

Here is a little known fact: Ice had originally been my secondary school. Somewhere around Dragonspyre I managed to pick up a Life Mastery Amulet and switched my secondary school. I have thought about resetting my training points to no longer have the ice spells. I haven't really been able to get many of the shadow spells, or the new sun spells, because of a lack of training points now. Here, you will see that ice spells are given a higher damage boost than even your primary myth spells. As we get to bigger worlds even just having ice as secondary grants higher health, and global resistance. You just can't beat that! So I do still have the ice spells and have been furiously farming Omen in hopes of getting an amulet to help me master ice spells as well.

Logically it seems like a great idea to have opposite schools. If you come up against a myth boss, you can just use your storm spells and enjoy the fact that they have a weakness against their opposite school. However, I'm finding that many bosses will put up a shield to try to counter for this weakness. Then I'm faced with dealing with either their natural resistance to their own school or an 80% shield against my secondary school. Ouch. Myth does have options of course. I always have at least one Pierce or Shatter in my deck. I've even trained one of my pets to pierce shields for me. Other schools will find themselves at a loss though.
Please keep in mind that the numbers above reflect the properties given when the entire set is worn together. I have provided a link to the Dezzy's Closet page of our website that gives the clothing recipe and info for the sets, and the names of the individual items that make up the sets - just click on the set title. These pages are not yet available through our site but I have given exclusive early access to our blog readers!
So YAY! All done with Mooshu clothing. What's next you may ask? Well, next post I will have an important exciting announcement that I've been waiting and waiting and waiting to make! We were so close to being done with Mooshu that I did not want to interrupt myself for the announcement. Can you guess what it is? If you have paid attention to the Dezzy's Closet section of the site, you may have noticed the change already.
As far as the next outfits to discuss, I'm thinking the level 30 gear that is offered in Aquila really should have been covered by now.
