Grizzleheim Clothing
Carax Strongthread is the clothing recipe vendor in Sudrilund. He can be a little difficult to find if you don't know where to look. When you enter Sudrilund, run around the mob of Coven Frostbeaks and Darkwing Choppers, and up the bridge. If you look past the mob of Darkwing Hewers and Darkwing Choppers, you will see a burning cauldron off in the distance. Carax Strongthread is standing just behind that cauldron, you should be fine if you stick to the path - the mob doesn't venture out into it here.
Storm wizards are going to need both Stormzilla and Triton Treasure cards - a total of 4 of each. The most you'll need of anything is 37 Aether. You'll also need 35 Perfect Amethyst, but you can buy those from many reagent vendors. Click on any of the set titles below to see the full list of ingredients required.

Last week we looked at Ice clothing and saw a health boost of 990. Sadly, it is typical that Storm is given the lowest health boosts of all the schools. I'm fairly sure that they are the only ones who receive 10% incoming heal boost though. That's something, and kind of rare actually for Storm wizards.
Celestia Clothing
If you caught my last article, this will be a tad bit repetitive. But it needs to be said for those who are just joining us, because instead of having separate vendors based on school, here in Celestia you will find only 3 vendors. Hamish Willoughby will be the first vendor that you run into when you get to The Grotto. He's fairly easy to find since he is in a cage and isn't likely to wander off. He has a collection of various hat recipes. Once you progress to Stormriven you will run into Enid Crowe. She can bestow boot recipes upon you. Eventually, you will make your way to the Science Center and Humphrey Thatcher, the vendor that sells robe recipes.
Warning from Dezzy:
To make all 3 items in the Celestia outfits, you are going to need to collect 11 - 17 Stormzilla Treasure Cards, depending on which outfit you intend to make. You are going to need Scales, Golden Pearl, Aether, Fossils and Sunstones for all of the clothing sets here in Celestia. The amounts really vary by recipe but those reagents seem to be a pretty consistent requirement. The remainder of the ingredients are simple to come by for the amounts needed. Just click on the set title to view the full list of ingredients necessary to make the entire set: the hat, robe, and boots.
Thunderfair Set
Storm/Balance
I have a friend with the Storm/Balance school combination. She doesn't rely much on her Balance hits since Storm is so powerful on its own. She is now in Avalon and still wearing her Sudrilund outfit. She said she did wear the Thunderfair Footwear instead of the Boots of Darkwind when she was in Celestia.
Stormstrife Set
Storm/Death
Look at that Damage boost for Death spells! 74%! The Storm/Death school choice could actually be a very powerful combination. A nicely boosted Vampire could easily give a better heal than the lowest possible heal from Healing Current, even with a 10% heal boost. 100 critical rating boost for a secondary school is also amazing! I think personally I might have to go with the Celestia set here.
Howling Set of Fire
Storm/Fire
Both Storm and Fire schools provide powerful hits. This Celestia Set provides pretty decent Accuracy, Critical Rating and Damage Boosts to both schools. I also have to add that this outfit looks very sharp in the Storm school colors, especially the boots.
Set of Turbulent Tales
Storm/Myth
Wizards that have chosen the Storm/Myth combination won't have much excitement over this offering from Celestia. The Myth hits don't get as much of a boost as we see in the other Storm clothing and the entire lack of resistance in the Celestia outfits makes me lean towards the Grizzleheim gear here.
Surging Spirit Set
Storm/Life
Our very own Esmee has this combination of Storm/Life schools. She and Emma Icecrafter aren't very far into Celestia yet and Esmee is sporting dropped gear from the House of Scales and hasn't really formed an opinion of Celestia VS. Grizzleheim crafted clothing. If you do use your secondary Life hits, the Celestia gear will provide a nice Damage boost for them. The thing that I really don't understand about the Surging Spirit Set is that it LOOKS like armor and yet gives no resistance at all. That's just wrong on so many levels.
Thundering Ice Outfit
Storm/Ice
Last but not least, we have the crafted clothing for Storm/Ice wizards. Ice wizards are really known for their Tanking abilities so unless Storm wizards are looking for another Elemental school hit for backup when faced with Storm Bosses I really feel that the Grizzleheim clothes would actually be more helpful for this school combination.
You can have many options if you carry both sets of crafted clothing. You might end up looking a bit eccentric, but you CAN always mix the clothing and wear the boots from Celestia with the hat and robe from Sudrilund. Level 55+ is where wizards really get a bit of freedom to fine tune their crafted gear to their own preferences.
Please keep in mind that the numbers above reflect the properties given when the entire set is worn together. I have provided a link to the Dezzy's Closet page of our website that gives the clothing recipe and info for the sets, and the names of the individual items that make up the sets - just click on the set title. These pages are not yet available through our site but I have given exclusive early access to our blog readers!
